KAITO is a Vocaloid

KAITO is a Vocaloid DTM (Desktop Music) software created by Crypton Future Media. He utilizes the older Vocaloid engine developed by YAMAHA, the predecessor of Vocaloid2. The voice was supplied by a Japanese male singer Naoto Fūga (風雅 なおと, Fūga Naoto). The product's name was invited from the public, and "KAITO" was selected from among applicants, which was the idea of Shu-tP.

Kaito sold only 500 packages in the initial distribution and Crypton deemed it as a failure. After Miku Hatsune was released, however, Kaito was re-evaluated and now many users prefer him with his friendly, tender and strong voice.
According to the package design, Kaito wears a white coat and a blue muffler. Crypton did not set his character and profile except his package design, as well as Meiko, for not having a concept of giving a certain character to an synthesizer application software. It was carried over to the following vocaloids to encourage creative activities by free individuals and expanding the characters based on each user's individual needs.

Those villiager dudes were just jealous of  Kaito .

Gosh, I think it's an awesome version of Kaito's Meltdown, eventhough it's not directly HIM (the programm) singing it, but it sounds great with the real Kaito-guy singing! (clear form)only bad quality (the pic)
